Murphy Wins Award for Innovative Use of Construction Business Intelligence and Mobile Apps

Milwaukee, WI -- Mechanical contractor Murphy Company was awarded a Gold Constructech Vision Award at a ceremony in San Francisco, California.
Murphy Company CIO Aaron Geiger accepted the award for their innovative use of PENTA Mobile and Role-Based Workbenches. The integration and application of these technologies has allowed Murphy Company to streamline the collection of time/material/equipment data from their service technicians at customer sites.

Instead of being in the field and having to record information to be sent back to a database and billing at a later time, technicians are able to record all information from the field and upon completion of a service ticket, billing is immediately notified. This is in contrast to many other mobile applications where information is recorded in the field to be submitted at a later time which in turn, delays the billing cycle.
