How to Survive Technological Disruption in The Construction Industry

Brookfield, Wis., August 26, 2019

Penta Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise construction software that helps construction, service, and engineering enterprises improve business performance, is rolling out the second episode of its BuildTech Talks webinar series on September 18 at 1pm CT, entitled How to Survive Technological Disruption in The Construction Industry.

“Blockbuster video, Barnes and Noble, and the Yellow Cab company, once dominant forces in their industries were blindsided by technological disruption,” said Bill Wagner, President at Penta Technologies. “Technological disruption impacts every industry — even labor-intensive, last-mile industries like construction are being radically transformed by emerging technologies at an ever-quickening rate.”

Construction as an industry hasn’t kept pace with the technological advances adopted by industry at large, but construction companies will quickly reach a tipping point where they must adapt and adopt new technologies, or they will lose out to emerging tech-savvy construction conglomerates and face extinction.

This free BuildTech Talks webinar will be co-presented by Wagner and Andy Lambert, Penta’s Director of Applied Construction Technology.

In this BuildTech Talk Session, Wagner and Lambert will:

  • Offer insights on the impact of disruption on traditional industries like construction
  • Introduce you to the five big ideas that will shape the future of the construction industry
  • Share the playbook for digital transformation utilized by Lithko – the #2 concrete contractor in the U.S.
  • Offer simple guidance on how to begin the process of digital transformation

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to share the real-world impacts of digital adoption on Lithko’s business,” said Lambert. “This inside look into this industry leader will offer you key insights into how Lithko was able to connect everyone from the field to the back office to increase productivity and profitability without adding to their workloads.”

Registration for the webinar in now open and can be accessed by visiting https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/8184722076877174795. All session registrants will receive a link to a recording of the live session.
