Application Installer

Penta Technologies, Inc. is an established technology innovator providing high-end accounting, financial, service and project management applications to large construction, engineering and other project-oriented firms in the US and Canada. This Brookfield, WI -based software company is growing and seeks a junior/intermediate Application Installer to join join Penta’s enterprise applications installation team specializing in Microsoft Windows-based servers and components.

  • Troubleshoot and remedy customer installation and configuration issues.
  • Become expert in Hyland OnBase installation and configuration.
  • Maintain and enhance installation scripts and tools.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education and Skills

  • Microsoft MCTS/MCITP certification with broad practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 administration and configuration.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with desktop operating systems, network operating system, and an existing network infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work outside business hours and weekends.

Other Desirable Skills

  • 4 year degree in computer science/related degree
  • Hyland OnBase® Certified Installer
  • Linux Operating System experience
  • Oracle Database Administration experience.

OnBase Solution Engineer

An OnBase Solution Engineer provides consulting services and solutions delivery to the Penta Technologies, Inc. customer community leveraging the Hyland OnBase product suite’s business process efficiency tools. Such services commonly include business process analysis and definition, solution design and implementation, and customer training.

The ideal candidate must be capable of leading discovery and whiteboard sessions, visualizing a solution based on requirements, then documenting and communicating the vision for both technical and business stakeholders. The candidate must have implemented solutions using the following core OnBase modules: Document Imaging, COLD Processing, Workflow, Status View, and Web Server.

The ability to adhere to project timelines that you have set and provide quality technical solutions that exceed client expectations is vital.

Construction Management Software Expert


Penta Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned construction IT and accounting specialist to play a lead role in its Consulting and Customer Support team. The primary objective for this position is to drive customer satisfaction – a key success factor for Penta Technologies, Inc. – through knowledgeable possible response to requests for assistance that flow into our Customer Support Center. This is a high-value, highly compensated role within our company that provides the variety and challenge of a senior consulting position with little or no travel requirement.
 
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
  • Provide mentoring on construction business practices and use of information technology to other team members.
  • Monitor all aspects of our response to customer requests from accuracy and effectiveness through communication and delivery to maximize the quality of the customer experience.
Examples of typical day-to-day Customer Support Center activities include:
  • Working directly with customers to research, resolve, and respond to application questions and problems received by phone, email, and fax.
  • Logging, managing, and clearing issue backlog for assigned customer accounts.
  • Ensuring timely follow up and resolution to all questions and problems reported
  • Conducting routine status update calls with assigned customer accounts
Successful candidates must possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
  • Education/experience: The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience installing, training, supporting, and/or operating the enterprise accounting, payroll, job cost, and project management systems with a construction or engineering company.  An individual who both understands the construction industry business processes and the use of enterprise software to execute them.  Experience with enterprise management systems in related project oriented businesses will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing business development activities and helping to develop the Penta business development plan, the Inside Sales Associate works closely with the Penta Sales and Marketing team to accelerate the development of qualified sales opportunities. Specific responsibilities of the Inside Sales Associate include:

  • Promote the PENTA suite of enterprise software products to target engineering, construction and field service enterprises
  • Identify and connect with key management roles with specific responsibilities within the target company

Position Description

  • Manage relationships with industry media:

  • Drive qualified prospects to the Sales Team through planning and execution of lead generation activities
